The hack remotely raised the temperatures of refrigerators and freezers in the affected supermarkets as high as 50°C on the night of October 12. According to French media, France’s cyber security agency ANSSI has identified a vulnerability in software supplied by Danish air conditioning and refrigeration company Danfoss.据法国媒体报道，法国网络安全机构ANSSI已确认丹麦空调与制冷公司Danfoss提供的软件中存在一个漏洞。

In August 9, cybersecurity firm Team82 published research, identifying ‘multiple vulnerabilities’ on Danfoss’ AK-SM 800A platform, which effectively provides a remote operational control centre for the company’s refrigeration infrastructure.8月9日，网络安全公司Team82发布研究报告，指出Danfoss的AK-SM 800A平台存在“多个漏洞”，该平台实际上为该公司的制冷基础设施提供了远程运行控制中心。

Danfoss said it was aware of incidents affecting a ‘limited number’ of refrigeration management systems running ‘outdated firmware’, adding that it had ‘long advised customers to keep supported systems updated with the latest firmware and to migrate legacy systems to current-generation solutions’.Danfoss表示，公司已获悉影响“有限数量”运行“过时固件”的制冷管理系统的事件，并补充称其“长期以来一直建议客户使用最新固件更新受支持的系统，并将旧有系统迁移至当前一代的解决方案”。
